In 1990, Joe interned at NASA Johnson Space Center and was on a team that designed a mock-up of an inflatable lunar habitat. Providing CAD drawings and a simple 3D model, the designs were later built full scale as part of a usability analysis, and were on view to the public (pardon the terrible photos).
